Mr. Incredible’s valentine
Brian Edwards of Fairview Park and his son Cameron, 4, also known as Mr. Incredible, create a secret admirer valentine at Pat Catan’s Westlake store’s “Create But Don’t Take a Valentine” event last week. People came in to create Valentines which would be given to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospice facilities.

School levy likely in May
Voter Survey indicates
strong support for schools

WESTLAKE — It's looking more and more likely an operating levy for the Westlake City School District will appear on the May ballot. And a public opinion poll commissioned by the board of education showed Westlake voters have a largely positive view of the city's public schools.

District favoring November combined levy attempt
NORTH OLMSTED — School officials have decided to wait until November to place a combined capital improvement / operating levy on the ballot. The public needs more time to learn about the district's development plans, a consultant said.

Town hall meeting Thursday on possible NOMBL takeover
NORTH OLMSTEDOfficials are hoping the public puts the petal to the metal with strong opinions tomorrow (Feb. 10) in a town hall meeting about the possible takeover of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line by the Regional Transit Authority (RTA).
