WESTLAKE — The U.S. Postal Service has admitted it was at fault for the Westlake Board of Education’s levy application failing to arrive at Board of Election headquarters by the deadline. But whether the mea culpa will get the 5.7-mill replacement levy on the May ballot is uncertain.

OLMSTED FALLS — A tight municipal budget has prompted the Olmsted Falls Police Department to withdraw at least temporarily from the Olmsted Drug Task Force program it worked on with Olmsted Township.

Officials say RTA close to absorbing municipal bus line
NORTH OLMSTED — It may be the end of the line for the city's independent bus line, with council set to consider and aagreement allowing an RTA takeover of NOMBL.
