House bill gives
nearly $8 million
to Westshore
road projects

WESTSHORE — Several local projects will receive funding in the federal transportation bill, recently passed by the House of Representatives. Rep. Dennis Kucinich said the funding would provide an economic boost for the district.

Zoning board approves Bradley Bay expansion
BAY VILLAGE — Despite protests by local residents, the city's board of zoning appeals last week approved a special-use permit for an expansion at the Bradley Bay Health Center.

Council endorses skate, bike park proposal
BAY VILLAGE — Led by Bay Middle School fifth-grade teacher Lawrence Kuh, a group of over 100 residents is urging the city to donate space in Reese Park for a skateboard and bike park.
