ROCKY RIVER In the hotly contested law director's
race, both candidates’ qualifications have been scrutinized. The
latest allegations comes from Democratic candidate Andrew Bemer,
who claims the incumbent, David Matty, disregarded his electorate
by splitting his time between Rocky River and Solon.

Dennis Clough said the proposed charter amendment recently placed
on the ballot by council would allow the legislative body to set
property taxes in order to fund the level of city services residents
