Westlake marching band hits the streets
WESTLAKE — Imagine a marching band performing in your front yard. It happened to Charles and Barb Koch of Muirfield Way in Westlake, who won a raffle sponsored by the Westlake Music Boosters.

WESTLAKE — Nationally, the country may be divided between red and blue. But in Westlake, the split is between the red campaign yard signs of incumbent Mayor Dennis Clough and yellow signs of challenger Joe O'Malley.

Police shoot, kill man after rampage at home
FAIRVIEW PARK —
A Fairview Park man was shot and killed by a police officer Monday evening after police were called to his home by the man's wife. She told dispatchers her husband was destroying items in the house. He also smashed his car into the garage and a side door, police said.

Businessman accused of swindling customers
ROCKY RIVER — The owner of a local home and garden store is behind bars after allegedly stealing approximately $41,000 from customers through inflated credit card charges.
