ROCKY RIVER — City Council President Pamela Bobst is expected to be selected as the new mayor by council at an emergency meeting at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
She succeeds William Knoble, who resigned June 9.
Suspect faces charges of kidnapping, rape, robbery
photoWESTLAKE — The suspect in the alleged abduction and sexual assault last week of a 23-year-old woman pleaded not guilty to rape and kidnapping in Cuyahoga County Court Tuesday. Curtis D. Sovern remains in jail after failing to post the $250,000 bond set by the court.

Fairview principals play musical chairs
Each building except high school to get new administrator

FAIRVIEW PARK — The latest element of the district's restructuring involves the reassignment of four principals. Superintendent Brion Deitsch believes the changes will bring new perspectives to each of the individual schools.
