Joel’s Place offers support
for children mourning lost loved ones

BAY VILLAGE — The loss of a loved family member and the grieving process that follows can be an extremely difficult experience for anyone, especially children. But through sharing and group support sessions, a local group is helping children make it through their grief.

Bike lanes to be painted on Hilliard this fall
But don’t use them until April, mayor says

WESTLAKE — When the bike lanes will be painted by September, signs will be posted stating the lanes will not officially open until April, Mayor Dennis Clough said. The arrangement is the result of a compromise resolving an difference of opinion that had divided the administration and City Council.

No end in sight to high prices
photoWESTSHORE — Many factors contribute to rising fule prices, National City Corp. Economist Ryan Reed said recently in a speech to the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce. Increased demand from China and political tensions in Iraq and Iran are some of the big ones, he said.
