It was a beautiful day to sail last Thursday when Youth Challenge held its annual Regatta out of the Edgewater Yacht Club. The organization every year connects special needs youths, volunteer teens and boat captains to sail around North Coast Harbor. Lake Road storefront bought for $150,000

ROCKY RIVER — Economic development director Kory Koran said his recent real estate purchase was made based on information publically available on the city's Web site. The property, which was listed for $175,000, had sold for $400,000 in 2004.

Youth Challenge makes sailing accessible for all

The organization's 18th Regatta, held last week, was just another example of how it helps physically challenged kids to participate in an event they normally would not.
