Bay mom’s efforts aid disabled children
phtotBAY VILLAGE — Nancy Geschke brought to town a national known program which teaches children with disabilities to ride regular bicycles without training wheels. Her goal was to help her 9-yearold son Brian, who suffers from encephalitis. But her efforts brought benefits to dozens of families in the region.

WESTLAKE — The revised plan, which was filed with the city July 10, will require the approval of the city’s planning commission and council, said Robert Parry, the city's director of planning and economic development.

photoFormer Bay High quarterback and current Cleveland Browns punter Dave Zastudil recently spoke to youngsters at the Rockets’ youth football camp. After playing four years for the hated Baltimore Ravens, Zastudil was one of several Cleveland-born-and-bred NFL players to sign with the Browns.

The Kabar Ensemble, a goup of Hungarian teens who’ve performed in Transylvania and Romania, are in the midst of the American tour which stops Friday at Lakewood's Beck Center for the Performing Arts.
