Bay mom’s efforts aid disabled children
phtotBAY VILLAGE — Nancy Geschke brought to town a national known program which teaches children with disabilities to ride regular bicycles without training wheels. Her goal was to help her 9-yearold son Brian, who suffers from encephalitis. But her efforts brought benefits to dozens of families in the region.

WESTLAKE — The revised plan, which was filed with the city July 10, will require the approval of the city’s planning commission and council, said Robert Parry, the city's director of planning and economic development.

City clears Koran of wrongdoing
photoROCKY RIVER — The law director has determined that a recent real estate transaction by Kory Koran, the city’s economic development director, was above board. Koran had purchased a vacant Lake Road storefront for $150,000.
