NORTH OLMSTED — The school district was one of only three in Ohio to jump from the continuous improvement designation to excellent in the state's annual report card.

Cleveland Water admits area blunders
WESTLAKE — While repair crews from the Division of Water tried to find maps for its pipes, water from a broken Hilliard Boulevard central line began flooding basements of about a dozen nearby residents. Now the city of Cleveland is accepting claim forms from residents who suffered damages in the Aug. 5 mishap.
