Ice rink cometh?
WESTLAKE — The world’s fastest sport — ice hockey — may soon be coming to the Westshore. Ohio Arenas, Inc. is expected to submit plans next month for a 100,000 square-foot ice rink facility on Viking Parkway, in an industrial-zoned section of Westlake. The complex would contain two pro-sized ice rinks, city officials said.

Superintendent says district at ‘critical point’
NORTH OLMSTED — With the fourth try for an operating levy within a year coming this November, Superintendent Kurt Stanic says the clock is ticking on the district's ability to maintain the recent excellence it has attained.

Dawn of dog park deal?
ROCKY RIVER — Officials from Rocky River and Lakewood plan to meet soon to discuss possible solutions to a noise nuisance from the later city's dog park.
