Mihaljevic murder still haunts area writer
BAY VILLAGE — It's been 17 years since 10-year-old Amy Mihaljevic disappeared on her way home from school Oct. 27, 1989. Her murder remains a traumatic event in the memory of Westshore residents. A local writer has written a book about the case, which although unsolved has generated thousands of tips to law enforcement authorities.
