VILLAGE The mayor plans to meet with Time Warner officials
Friday to discuss complaints residents have made since the company
acquired Comcast several months ago.

lures crowds with lights, action
LAKEWOOD The colorful Christmas season kicks off Thursday with
a 5 p.m. lighting ceremony at Sinagra Park, surrounded by the songs
of the McKinley Elementary School singers. After that, Light up
Lakewood kicks off in earnest with a variety of free and fee activities
throughout the lakeside town.
Coleman
battled cancer to the end
WESTSHORE Casey Coleman, the 55-year-old sportscaster
whose personal battle against pancreatic cancer ended Monday, made
several stops across the Westshore during the past year to fight
cancer on behalf of others.

Journalist
pens fun folk history of Cleveland rock
Carlo
Wolff's new book, “Cleveland Rock & Roll Memories,” takes a
fun, incisive look at three decades of Cleveland’s music history.
The local journalist will be autographing copies at Borders Books & Music
in the Promenade of Westlake Dec. 7 and at Waldenbooks in Great
Northern Mall in North Olmsted Dec. 16.
