City
planning to file cable complaint with FTC
BAY
VILLAGE Residents continue to have billing and Internet service
problems with Time Warner, which took over Comcast several months
ago. City officials have heard their residents and plan to take the
matter up with top-level company officials and file a complaint with
the Federal Trade Commission.
Rego’s
moving to former Tops store
WESTLAKE An old name from the grocery business
will return to Westlake early next year. Rego’s Fresh Market Inc.
has agreed to purchase the former Tops Markets store on Columbia
Road. The new store should be open for business by mid-February.

Council chambers to get makeover
ROCKY RIVER The space where council meets weekly was originally
created for the Rocky River Municipal Court, and, if nothing else,
it could use a fresh coat of paint. But the city plans much more:
a new speaker system, carpeting, lights, a dropped ceiling and video
presentation system.

JiMiller Band, one of the stalwarts upholding the jam-band tradition
that the Grateful Dead trailblazed, brings a CD release party Friday
to the Winchester Tavern and Music Hall in Lakewood — where part
of the CD was recorded live.
