Hockey
team won’t practice in Westlake
Plans for ice rink still proceeding
WESTLAKE Ohio Arenas still has plans for a two-rink,
100,000 square-foot facility in Westlake even though the organization
lost its bid to be the practice home of Cleveland's new American Hockey
League franchise.
Superintendent
to retire in July
WESTLAKE James Costanza, who
has lead the school district since August 1998, was praised for
his academic and financial leadership. The school board has not
yet set a timetable has been set for selecting a successor.

Giant Eagle has grand opening
LAKEWOOD
The first of several former Tops grocery stores was reborn
as a Giant Eagle supermarket Thursday morning. Located at 14100
Detroit Ave., the store sits directly across the street from the
neighborhood's old Giant Eagle supermarket.
