Officials: Man drowned
No signs of foul play found on washed up body

BAY VILLAE — Authorities identified the body that washed ashore on a private beach Sunday as that of Lakewood resident Jerzy Perkitny, 60.

Hilliard bike lanes officially open

Clough said the Hilliard bike lanes — between the Rocky River border and Dover Center Road — was just the first phase of bike paths throughout the city. The Westlake portion of the Crocker-Stearns extension (from Center Ridge Road south) will also have a bike lane, Clough said, adding that he hopes the North Olmsted section will add one, too.

BAY VILLAGE — Residents opposing the multi-million dollar expansion of the Bradley Bay Health Care facility are mulling possible appeals after the Municipal Planning Commission approved the latest plans.
