fire destroys playground

OLMSTED Officials are investigating a July 23 fire that destroyed
outdoor playground equipment at Forest Primary School. Although the
school district will file an insurance claim on the damage, pupils
will be without playground equipment when school begins in a few weeks. |

Police to hold Open House Aug. 7
WESTLAKE The Westlake Police Department will
host an open house Aug 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. Station tours, child fingerprinting
and an opportunity to view police vehicles up close will be offered.
