I-90 interchange in Avon became heated with public comments, heavy
with an east (Cuyahoga County) vs. west (Lorain County) mentality.
Westlake, in particular, is concerned that growth in Westlake may

school marks Fairview renaissance
FAIRVIEW
PARK Gilles-Sweet Elementary School, one of the two crowning
jewels of the Gemini Project, opened to students in kindergarten through
grade six Monday. The day before hundred of students, their parents
and community leaders dedicated and toured the building. |
Third
ambulance will benefit city in long run, officials say
ROCKY RIVER The Fire Department purchased a
third ambulance for $133,000. Safety Service Director James Linden
says the new vehicle will reduce wear and tear on the other two and
give the city's paramedics more redundancy.
