BREAKING NEWS:
Board of Elections blocks
adivsory vote on Bradley Road land
WEB POSTED 4:50 PM SEPT. 19
The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections voted 3 to 0 Sept. 24 to uphold a protest by the Westlake school board regarding an issue on the November ballot. The decision blocks a city-backed advisory vote that would ask residents if they want to rezone 42 acres of district-owned property on Bradley Road for public recreation. The city has sought the land for baseball and soccer fields but has been unable to reach a deal with the school board.
