Court
dismisses dog park lawsuit
ROCKY
RIVER Cuyahoga
County Court of Common Pleas Judge Carolyn Friedland dismissed the Rocky
River's lawsuit against Lakewood over its dog park, whcih several
River residents have complained about becuase of the animals' loud
barking. The city has 30 days to appeal the decision. |

Ordinance
bans sexual offenders from new rec center
FAIRVIEW PARK Convicted
sexual offenders are not welcomed at the city’s new recreation center,
or at any of its parks and athletic fields. City Council unanimously passed an ordinance Dec.
17 prohibiting sexual offenders legally required to register with
the county sheriff from the city’s recreation facilities.
