LAKEWOOD — The former president extolled his wife's health care and education plans during a campaign stop at Lakewood High School just three days before Ohio's presidential primary.
Drug arrest made at Westlake High School
WESTLAKE — A 15-year old female student at Westlake High School was arrested Feb. 28 after she allegedly offered to sell illegal drugs to fellow students. All of them refused the offer, and one reported the incident to a teacher. And on Monday morning, a 17-year-old male student was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia following the execution of a search warrant at his Horseshoe Boulevard residence.
Firefighters picket City Hall about cuts
photoBAY VILLAGE — Firefighters contend the city's decision to cut minimum staffing levels a safety hazard. The union said the city doesn’t have to balance the budget by cutting so much from the fire department. Mayor Debbie Sutherland said the cuts apply only when a firefighter calls off sick and won’t affect most of the calls the department receivces.

Fairview’s Carlo sets tone for Warrior program
Senior Corey Carlo, battling through a broken bone in his hand, managed a sixth-place finish Saturday in the state wrestling championships. He was the first two-time state qualifier for the Warriors since 1997.
