53rd Music a la Mode scheduled for Saturday

The 53rd annual Music a la Mode, the Westlake Music Boosters' biggest fund-raiser, will be held Sat., May 10 from noon through 10 p.m. at the Westlake Schools Performing Arts Center.

The all-day concert features all musical groups from grades five through 12. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens. Children 18 and under are free.

There will be raffles, cake and ice cream, and a Mother's Day plant sale.

A special attraction will be an "Instrumental Petting Zoo" from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Westlake High School gymnasium. The event, sponsored by Skyline Music, will give younger students an opportunity to see, touch and play a variety of music instruments. Tickets for the Instrument Petting Zoo are $1 per child.
