ROCKY RIVER — Gita Frankel, who grew up in a Jewish family in Germany during the Nazi rise to power, spoke of witnessing her father shot to death before her eyes during a talk to eighth-graders Thursday. She would see even greater horrors when she and her mother were sent to two concentration camps.
