Case
Handyman and Remodeling Services, the nation’s leading home
improvement company, is opening in Cleveland. Shawn and Lissa Marquard
will serve as the owners, bringing with them more than 45 years
of experience in business, sales, home building and remodeling.
Shawn is the grandson of the well-known builder Marquard
Homes, known for their large footprint of homes in Cleveland’s West
Side suburbs. With a diverse career serving as a solid foundation,
he eventually followed in his family’s footsteps and became a business
owner.

Unhappy with the level of home improvement service
in their area, Shawn and Lissa decided that the time was right to
introduce a new breed of home improvement to Northeast Ohio. Case’s
unique brand of home improvement and remodeling services was a perfect
fit, offering a breath of fresh air from your typical home improvement
company that serves Cleveland’s communities. Case’s work for clients
encompasses a wide range representing everything from simple handyman
work to full remodeling projects such as decks, bathrooms, basements
and kitchens.
“In a world of decreasing customer service, where
everything is done the quickest and cheapest way possible, the culture
of Case is one of individual care for each client,” says Shawn.
Lissa feels that client relationships are the most
important part of the home improvement business.
“Remodeling is a relationship driven business, and
client relationships are formed by a mutual respect. Your home is
your most valued possession,” Lissa says. “That theme seems to get
lost in translation with many remodeling companies.”
With relationships comes trust, which Case engenders
in their clients; all of Case’s craftsmen have had background checks
and at least 10 years of experience in the field.
Shawn feels that educating Cleveland area consumers
about remodeling is one of his top agendas as a business owner.
“There is an abundance of misconceptions about remodeling
that the public does not know. Local do-it-yourself suppliers are
not always the most cost-efficient, and they don’t have the highest
quality materials for the price,” says Shawn. “In our area, home
remodelers have a reputation of being unprofessional.”
“At CASE Cleveland, we believe in professionalism,
on-time appointments and staying on-budget to exceed our client’s
expectations, hence the name ‘Clients for Life.’” In five years,
Shawn hopes to build the CASE brand name in the Cleveland area with
a reputation of professionalism, reliability and the highest skilled
craftsmanship. For more information, call (440) 734-CASE (2273).
