Liptrap has been named as the new principal of Fairview High School.
Liptrap has served as the high school’s assistant principal and athletic
director since 2006. In March, the school board voted not to renew the
contract of current principal Carey Willgren. |

counting on train solution

officials hope an upcoming phone conference with officials from the
Federal Railroad Administration and Norfolk Southern will resolve
the ongoing issue of what train count should be used when calculating
the city’s risk index toward establishing a quiet zone. |
