Broestl
& Wallis Fine Jewelers adds sparkle to your holidays
Published Dec. 3, 2008
Wonderful things are
happening at Broestl & Wallis Jewelers — we have just been voted
in as first place in the 2008 Fox 8 Hot List in the bridal/ring
category. We are thrilled to continue celebrating years of experience
and community involvement in Lakewood since 1987.
If you haven’t been in
our store because you thought we were no longer in business, you
gave us a lot of time to put inventory together. We’ve kept the
consumer in mind because of today’s economy.

at Broestl & Wallis Fine Jewelers. The Lakewood company was
recently ranked number one in the 2008 Fox 8 Hot List in the
bridal/ring category. |
We’ve been busy designing and manufacturing a beautiful array
of colored stone and diamond jewelry. Jeff Broestl invites you to
come in and take a look.
“I think you need to get a message out that I retired and you
didn’t close — it’s just a changing of the guard,” retired partner,
Dan Wallis, said about the recent changeover.
We offer the services
of buying gold, platinum, silver and diamonds and additionally we’ve
been buying estate jewelry for quite some time now. “So if you’re
not looking for anything new, maybe it’s time to clean house and
bring us what you’re not wearing anymore,” Broestl said.
We’re not like other
jewelry stores. All the work at Broestl & Wallis is done right
in our store, on premises in a timely manner. We are here to service
you. Some chain stores take three to four weeks to get the work
done. Why would you go to a jewelry store that does not do its own
work? Please keep in mind we are not watchmakers.
Custom work is our specialty.
Ask around-our reputation speaks for itself. “The most interesting
designs are not necessarily the most expensive, and I enjoy a creative
challenge,” Broestl said. “Those on limited budgets should not assume
that they cannot afford a custom made piece of jewelry.”
Broestl started his jewelry
career in 1975 working for his cousin Wallis in downtown Cleveland
in the Euclid 9th tower while in 10th grade. The two did bench work
and manufacturing for the retail stores. “I polished for the first
two years before breaking into the bench. I’ve learned from the
ground up. I can take your design from a picture or sketch to reality,”
Broestl said.
That explains why our
jewelers have the knowledge and ability to advise the client on
what is possible and work together to come up with a successful
design to meet clients’ desires. We also work with estate jewelry.
We are located in Lakewood. Coming from the East or West, take
I-90 to Warren Road. North to Madison Ave. and right to 14410 Madison
Ave. (216) 221-1434.
