NORTH OLMSTED With the May 5 non-partisan
primary in a little less than two weeks, the quartet of mayoral
candidates all believe they made their cases effectively at
the mayoral forum Thursday at North Olmsted Middle School.

health issue at skate site
BAY VILLAGE Cuyahoga County Health Department
workers found no evidence of any health issues at pipes located near
the proposed skate park site in Cahoon Park.

WESTLAKE The picketing, which took place just
prior to City Council’s regular biweekly meeting Thursday evening,
was intended to draw attention to Fire Chief Ron Janicek’s recent
decision to utilize two firefighters/paramedics on less serious ambulance
calls.

High School's boys baseball team continued its hot hitting. The team
batting average is .381. The Demons also benefited from some solid
pitching to boot in moving to 9-1 overall and 3-1 in the SWC.
