Blowing
through the city
A heavy storm and high winds knocked out power for thousands
of residents and caused other damage last Thursday night and
Friday morning. Right: Kenny Pell, of Tree Contractors Inc.,
cuts into two large branches that came down on the roof of a
home on West Oakland in Bay Village. Left: A split maple tree
lies in the yard of a Cahoon Road home. Officials said at the
beginning of the week that power had been restored to residents
and work on fixing damages was continuing. (West Life photos
