Team focuses on customer service

For
David Reddy, an award-winning local realtor, customer service is
of the utmost importance. Reddy keeps an open line of communication
with each one of his customers whether something is happening with
their home or not.
“One of the biggest complaints I hear from customers
is the previous realtor or realtors they worked with didn’t communicate
with them,” he said. “People won’t have that problem with us.”

Reddy, who grew up in Lorain County, is part of Keller
Williams Realty, which has a convenient office location at 30400
Detroit Road in Westlake.
“The office in Westlake puts us in the middle of the
Westshore area,” Reddy said. “Logistically, it makes sense. We have
good recognition and exposure here in the area.”
What also makes Reddy unique is that he worked in
the mortgage industry for 10 years as a licensed loan officer. This
allows him to understand and be creative in finding ways to structure
deals so they work for both parties, he said.
“In our marketplace today, a lot of real estate transactions
evolve into a need for creative financing,” Reddy said. “If you
don’t understand the financing process, you’re going to be left
out in the cold. My financing background helps me to understand
every step of the process, which is critical in successfully closing
real estate transactions.”
Reddy also specializes in both residential and commercial
real estate. And while he does most of his business in the Cuyahoga
and Lorain county areas, he also travels and has sold properties
in the Columbus and the Toledo areas.
Despite the downturn in the housing market and the
economy, if the home is in a good location and priced well, homes
will sell, Reddy said.
“One of things people have to understand is they need
to be realistic in their expectations of what they are trying to
accomplish in the sale of their home,” Reddy said. “Obviously, home
prices have been adjusted.”
Reddy offers a customized marketing plan for each
individual home. Every home is unique, and marketing plans need
to be adjusted according to the individual characteristics of each
home. Also, he offers a free comparative market analysis with no
obligation. He will come out to the customer’s home and make note
of all the different amenities the home offers. A customized pricing
evaluation is generated based on that information.
By the end of November 2009, Reddy will have finished
his training with the prestigious Institute for Luxury Home Marketing
and will have his certified home marketing specialist designation.
Reddy graduated from Ohio State University with a
bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has been a member
of the Lake Erie Landlord Association for four years and currently
serves as the vice president. He is eCertified, a designation that’s
