Sutherland takes narrow victory

BAY VILLAGE — With some absentee and provisional ballots still uncounted, Mayor Debbie Sutherland had an apparent victory of slightly under 80 votes over Councilman-at-large Jim Scott in her bid to win a third term.
Cross leads Marinucci by 23 votes

The Board of Elections says 282 provisional ballots and 106 more absentee ballots have yet to be tallied in Westlake. If Nate Cross' leads over Joe Marinucci for the second of two school board seats remains under one-half of 1 percent, an automatic recount will take place.
