Sutherland
takes narrow victory
Incumbent
beats Scott by less than 100 votes
BAY VILLAGE With some absentee and provisional ballots still uncounted,
Mayor Debbie Sutherland had an apparent victory of slightly under
80 votes over Councilman-at-large Jim Scott in her bid to win a third
term. |
Cross
leads Marinucci by 23 votes
WESTLAKE
The Board of Elections says 282 provisional ballots and 106
more absentee ballots have yet to be tallied in Westlake. If
Nate Cross' leads over Joe Marinucci for the second of two school
board seats remains under one-half of 1 percent, an automatic recount will take
place. |

products reuses and recycles everything from cardboard boxes to bubblewrap.
This saves money, officials at EZ Brite Brands say, as the company
doesn’t have to purchase new shipping materials.

I championship of a year ago, did so in record-breaking fashion by
finishing with the lowest team score in girls state meet history.
And Bay junior Michael Brajdic became the first cross country runner
to win a state championship in school history.

Fabulous
Food Show will showcase local foods, vendors
The
premier culinary event of the year, the Fabulous Food Show takes
place at the I-X Center Nov. 13-15.
The 2,000-seat Main Kitchen Theatre will be filled
with tons of cooking tips and presentations by Food Network chefs
Bobby Flay, Sandra Lee and Cleveland’s own Michael Symon.
