Sutherland
certified as winner
BAY VILLAGE Even
as Cuyahoga County Board of Elections officials yesterday certified
that incumbent Debbie Sutherland was the winner in the Nov. 3 Bay
Village mayoral election, challenger Jim Scott said he would continue
to look into alleged election law violations as well as seek a recount. |

district musical instructor and Navy veteran Dan Greene hit the right
note before millions of people last week. The choir director for the North Olmsted Middle School
and assistant orchestra director at North Olmsted High School, sang
the national anthem at the Monday Night Football game at Cleveland
Browns Stadium Nov. 16. |
Strayer
University opens in Fairview

PARK Fairview
Park is now a college town. Strayer University, which focuses on nontraditional,
adult college students, began teaching courses in July at its new
Fairview Park Campus, located at the Fairview Office Center just off
Brookpark Road.

classes crossing paths, all with the underlying theme of equality
and justice. Several historical characters appear in the play, including
Henry Ford, Booker T. Washington, J.P. Morgan, Harry Houdini and
Evelyn Nesbit.
