Get hopping on Easter reservations

It is time to get hopping and make your reservations for Easter dining. These area eateries will be open to make your holiday special.

Becker's Bakery, 22088 Lorain Road in Fairview Park, is offering Paska bread, kolachkies, nut and poppyseed rolls, kuchens, angel wings and Easter Cakes for the holiday. Phone (440) 734-9856 to place your order.

The Fairview Tavern, 21867 Lorain Road in Fairview Park, is serving Easter breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon. The menu will include egg dishes including eggs Benedict, pancakes and sausage and biscuits. Phone (440) 799-4200.

Houlihan's, 25651 Detroit Road in Westlake, is preparing brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The buffet will include roast beef and ham carving stations, salmon, pastas, omelettes to order, a waffle station, and assorted soups, salads and desserts. The cost is $20.95 for adults and $12.95 for youngsters under 10 years of age. Phone (440) 808-9090.

Mahle's Restaurant, 24945 Detroit Road in Westlake, is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter. A special holiday menu will feature baked ham, roast lamb, steaks and seafood. Reservations are required. Call (440) 899-6602.

Saucy Bistro, 24481 Detroit Road in Westlake, is offering a lavish Easter buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Start with their famous Bittaker salad, fresh fruit or tomatoes and mozzarella, peel-and-eat shrimp and smoked salmon. Then, move on to various breakfast items, chicken scallopini, baked salmon, and chef-carved ham and roast beef. Non-Alcoholic beverages are included in the buffet price of $29 for adults and $13 for children under 10 years of age. Call (440) 835-3559.

Steak on a Stone, 30111 Lorain Road in North Olmsted, is serving brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a limited holiday menu from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The brunch buffet includes traditional breakfast items, lamb, top round and ham carving stations, Greek meatballs, vegetable lasagna, sausage and sauerkraut and side dishes, along with banana custard and rice pudding for dessert. The buffet is $18.95 plus tax and tip for adults and $9.95 for youngsters under 10 years of age.

The Vintage House Café, 35800 Detroit Road in Avon, is preparing brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The buffet will include fresh fruits and salads, breakfast items, roast herbed pork loin, baked ham, chicken cordon bleu and scalloped potatoes, with carrot cake, brownies, Danish and cookies for dessert.
