Egg hunt
Children meet the Easter Bunny at the annual Westlake Town Criers Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at the Westlake Recreation Center. Children 3 and under searched for Easter eggs in a separate area to avoid the mobs that stampeded the recreation center playground to collect hundreds of pounds of treats. Westlake Police estimate 2,000 people attended the 55th annual Egg Hunt. Sunshine brought out the largest crowd in memory, according to Chuck Webster, president of the Westlake Town Criers. More than 15,000 pieces of candy and prizes were retrieved by kids up to 10 years of age. (Photo credit: Ray Arcuri/Westlake Town Criers)
