Glenn to transfer Brookpark Road buildings to GSA
BREAKING NEWS
FAIRVIEW PARK NASA has decided to transfer its property north of
Brookpark Road to the federal government’s General Services Administration.
The lone contractor on the property, Arctic Slope
Regional Corp., will remain in Building 500 until its contract with
Glenn expires in September 2011. |

honoring Bay soldier killed in Vietnam
BAY VILLAGE Ken Henninger received the Silver Star, the United
States’ third highest military honor, for protecting his fellow soldiers
in a fierce firefight in Vietnam. Friends of the 1965 Bay High grad
will soon honor him by presenting his military medals to the Bay Village
Historical Society. |

Cancer treatment has come a long way in recent years,
a local oncology nurse told participants of the Westlake Relay For
Life Friday. The breast cancer survivor added she is optimistic that
new, successful treatments are down the road.
