assist aids police in arrests
NORTH OLMSTED An assist from Mayor Kevin Kennedy after a family
vehicle was entered early Aug. 17 helped lead to the arrest by North
Olmsted police of three 15-year-old male suspects in thefts of various
goods from between 30 to 40 vehicles in the city the last few weeks. |

Teams face challenges as grid season opens
The
new season officially gets underway this Friday night, with Rocky
River, the only local team to make the playoffs last year, starting
with a tough road game with Highland. Bay, under first-year head coach
Ryan Gorius, is also away at Orange, while Lutheran West heads down
the road to Fairview in one of the Westshore’s traditional opening
night games.
