librarian dresses like pirate,
dyes hair pink to encourage reading
ROCKY RIVER Librarians have been stereotypically portrayed as
quiet and stuffy, shuffling around a dusty library in long skirts
and high-collared blouses making shushing sounds. If that stereotype
hasn’t been broken by now, just a quick glance at Librarian
Megan Alabaugh will definitely cause it to crash and burn.

woman new fundraising director at nature center

VILLAGE Ann Miller has worked in Northeast Ohio nonprofits
for 17 years. Her most recent position was director of foundation,
corporate and government relations at Notre Dame College in South
Euclid. The North Ridgeville resident has a master’s degree in nonprofit
organizations from Case Western's Weatherhead School of Management.
