Avon Garden Club
The Avon Garden Club will meet Tuesday in the Orchid Room at Miller Nature Preserve, 2739 Center Road. AECPTA Kids Kloset
The Avon Early Childhood PTA will hold its Spring Kids Kloset Resale on March 28 in the commons area and auxiliary gym at Avon Middle School, 3445 Long Road. Admission to the early bird sale from 7-9 a.m. is $5. Admission to the general sale from 9 a.m.-noon is $2. The sale features gently used infant and children’s clothing, toys, games, furniture, strollers, swings and more. There will also be a bake sale and a 50-50 raffle.
Couple golf league

Lake Shore UMC dinner
The men’s club of Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 33119 Electric Blvd., will provide a family-size pan of lasagna for take-out only. Dinners can be picked up on Sunday and March 22 after church at 11 a.m. and from 5-6 p.m. March 25. The suggested donation is $18. Lively Avon Lakers
The Lively Avon Lakers will hold their monthly luncheon and program at 11:45 a.m. March 18 at the Legacy Club of Sweetbriar Golf Course. The menu includes turkey pot pie, the Legacy salad, rolls and butter, beverage and coffee cake for dessert. Ted Forthofer, a certified relocation and transition specialist, will present “Simply Downsizing.” Cost is $14 per person. The Avon Lake Early Childhood PTA Spring Kids Closet Sale will be held March 21 at the Avon Lake High School auxiliary gym, 175 Avon Belden Road. Admission to the early bird sale from 7-9 a.m. is $5. Admission to the general sale from 9 a.m.-noon is $2. This is a cash-only event and bake sale. Small bills only, please. Shop with over 100 sellers for used infant, children’s, maternity and teen items, including clothing, toys, furniture, strollers, swings and high chairs.
Bay Village Garden Club

The winter Farmers Market will be open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in the event barn at Frostville Museum, 24101 Cedar Point Road.
