Drive down any street in Bay Village and a visitor would be struck by the beauty and volume of the city’s tree canopy. This is why, for more than 20 years, residents who face challenges raking leaves welcome the volunteer tree-raking service provided by middle school students.

The Annual Great Bay Middle School Rake Out will return Nov. 18 after a two-year hiatus. Over 300 students between fifth and eighth grade are anticipated to participate between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
