During his mayor’s report at the Monday night City Council meeting, Mayor Dave Gillock appealed to the public to help with funding for the July 4 fireworks show.

“Of the $10,000-$15,000 total cost, the city usually contributes $4,000,” he said. “The firefighters raise the rest through donations.”

He urged residents to contact the firefighters at (440) 327-5311.
